Jenny currently resides in Rossland, in the West Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia.
"The Great Outdoors" is my Muse. I began painting in response to a mid-life crisis...... beginning with watercolour but now work primarily with acrylic. Mountains and flowers were my initial subject of choice; presently I include portraits of wild animals especially BEARS - and historic women mostly mountaineering related...occasionally I paint a Super Hero. With the assistance of many workshops, books and videos - and much experimentation - I am essentially 'self-taught'. I have exhibited in many shows within the West Kootenay and my paintings have found homes throughout Canada and the rest of the world.
