Ryan Villiers
Ryan Villiers is a highly awarded and acclaimed wood sculpture artist. Known for creating unique, detailed, and memorable pieces that are sure to capture attention, commemorate significance, or showcase your business or interests. He pours his talent and passion into every single piece, and this award-winning artist is no stranger to international acclaim.
Located in Edmonton, Alberta, he has sold commissions across Canada and throughout the United States. Recently, Canadian icon Ron Maclean commissioned a carving of Don Cherry, completing the piece with a personal signature. Additionally, Sylvester Stallone posted about his commission of the character Rambo carving Ryan created, which now stands in Hope, B.C. Based out of Alberta, Villiers first began carving in 2017 and took it on full time the following year. A previous contestant of Hope’s 2021 chainsaw woodcarving competition, he’s had a busy past two years working on big commissions for franchise chain stores in Canada & the USA. He was also a contestant and finalist on the Discovery Channel television show "A Cut Above". He has also worked on a number of on large installations for many Canadian Company's and private collectors .
