New from Wendy Stone
'55 Alive ("Belle")
Wendy Stone is a metal design sculptor, upcycling mainly reclaimed steel and old car parts. She creates unique pieces inspired by her hours spent hiking though out the mountains of B.C. and Alberta. Each creation is meticulously assembled by building a foundational frame to ensure the form is correct. From that point she will use car, truck, and motorbike parts to build the piece
Born in Drayton Valley Ab in 1988, Wendy has literally grown up with a welding machine in her back yard surrounded by nature. She is a journeyman red seal welder, receiving her certification from NAIT in 2010 and also comes from a background of welders such as her father.
